As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you carry out regular patrols, access control, and badge verification. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and provides the opportunity to engage with people, deliver excellent customer service, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters as needed.

Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
