As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in New Bern, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and contributing to a secure environment. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter, adjusting to varying working environments and conditions based on the location.

Observe for and report irregularities, such as security-related breaches, unsafe conditions, or unusual activity within the facility.

Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.

Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
