As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Wharton, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business area and perimeter.

Observe for any suspicious activity or potential hazards and report findings according to site protocols.

Assist with controlling access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters, incidents, and/or concerns.

Complete daily reports and logs to document observations, activities, and incidents encountered during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
