As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors. Your role is critical in promoting a secure environment, supporting loss prevention initiatives, and demonstrating the Allied Universal values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity by conducting regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols when appropriate.

Observe and report any suspicious persons, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial areas.

Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site procedures.

Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and assisting with visitor management at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
