Medical Office Assistant - Infusion Center (Full-Time)

Washington, D.C.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to support a high-volume Infusion Center in Washington, D.C. This role is essential to maintaining clinic flow and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure smooth clinic operations before rooming patients

Manage scheduling and referrals

Follow up on clinical notes and documentation

Accurately enter data into Aria, including:

Doctor notes

Patient demographics

Insurance information

Screening responses

Provide outstanding customer service to all patients

Move throughout the clinic as needed, working both front desk and back office

Work Environment

Support a large department with multiple clinics

Collaborate with a team of 50+ staff members

Handle a patient volume of 100-200 patients per day

Work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

Qualifications

Medical Assisting diploma or certificate - Required

Experience in a clinical or infusion center setting is a plus

Familiarity with Aria or similar EMR systems preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

This is a Contract position based out of Washington D.C., DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
