We are looking for a diligent Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey. This position offers the potential for long-term employment and is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The role involves managing accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, collections, and data analysis, while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and billing.

Perform collection activities to manage outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.

Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision-making.

Handle prepaids and credit-related tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Execute ad hoc projects to address specific business needs.

Maintain detailed and organized records to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as V-Lookups and Pivot Tables, for data analysis.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to resolve discrepancies.

Collaborate with other departments to improve accounts receivable processes.

Ensure all financial activities align with company policies and procedures.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, including invoicing and billing functions.

Proficiency in collections, particularly commercial cash applications.

Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and creating reports.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Effective communication skills for working with teams and clients.

Experience handling prepaids and credit tasks is preferred.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
