As a Security Officer - Retail Store Patrol in Allentown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to the public, and offer exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment within the retail location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail area and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report on activities or conditions that may impact the location, documenting all incidents and/or irregularities as required.

Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail location to help to deter theft and/or disruptive behavior.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
