The Finance Operations Global Process Owner (GPO) is responsible for the stewardship, continuous improvement, and transformation of core finance processes across all in-scope geographies. Reporting to the Operations Delivery Manager, the GPO drives global process standardization, ensures alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements, and supports service delivery teams in achieving operational excellence. The GPO acts as a thought leader, influencing policy and strategy to deliver measurable improvements in cost, productivity, and quality.
Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Process Stewardship
Design and maintain end-to-end global processes to support consistent service delivery and compliance across all regions.
Collaborate with client GPOs to address country-specific exceptions and ensure alignment with global standards.
Resolve or escalate service issues related to process design in partnership with client stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
Lead initiatives to improve process efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging industry benchmarks and new technologies.
Track and report key business metrics to demonstrate the impact of transformation efforts.
Guide and support service delivery teams in ongoing improvement projects.
Service Delivery Support
Review and approve new process requests or changes to meet evolving business needs.
Assess delivery issues and identify trends or deficiencies for targeted process updates.
Thought Leadership
Serve as a recognized expert in finance process management, advising on policy and strategy.
Foster a culture of innovation by introducing best practices and emerging technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance operations (such as P2P, 02C, and R2R)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program and project management
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a leadership role, ideally within the finance and/or retail industry
Data analysis and visualization
Experience working as a Professional Services Provider
Professional Skills Requirements:
Strong communication skills, oral and written
Client stakeholder relationship management
Strong communication, negotiation, and project facilitation skills.
Proven ability to manage global teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
