Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Recyclers to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
This position plays a key role in supporting our Zero-Waste warehouse and recycling program by ensuring recyclable materials are properly sorted, contamination is minimized, and improvements are made when necessary.
Pay
$18.25 - $18.25 / hour

What will you do?
Receive and sort recyclable materials to proper specifications in an efficient and safe manner
Identify contamination in recycling streams and report findings to the Environmental Manager to support program improvements
Properly and safely load trucks or containers for transport when required
Maintain accurate records of contamination and recycling volumes as directed
Occasionally collect, sort, and transport universal waste according to safety standards
Assist with recycling receipt management throughout the season, and assist with tracking program data
Conduct occasional recycling training at Delaware North locations in Yellowstone National Park and West Yellowstone, Montana
Assist in improving recycling processes by providing feedback and recommendations
May occasionally need to drive up to a few hours at a time
More about you
Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or warehouse work is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to sustainability.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple locations.
Good communication skills for reporting contamination, conducting training, and sharing program feedback
Valid driver's license required
Physical requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, standing, and repetitive motions.
Stand and walk for long periods of time.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
