Job Description

JOB POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Administrator performs routine accounting duties, following appropriate procedures to ensure timely and accurate preparation. Refers difficult or unusual problems to appropriate personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with month-end closing procedures.

Review invoice for proper coding and approvals and enter into payables system, in accordance with established guidelines.

Research problems and resolve or refer to other personnel, as appropriate.

Maintains documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for internal audits.

Provide backup coverage for the accounting function, as required.

Prepare and @type documents and perform other administrative needs, as required.

Maintain files in accordance with established procedures.

Support any special projects, as directed by management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Fluet in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) with the ability to communicate effectively in professional and business @context.

Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Good organizational and PC skills required.

Must be dependable and willing to work additional hours, as required.

Good Microsoft skills related to Outlook, Excel, and other Office software.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience.
