Human Resources (HR) Director

Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team in West Hollywood, California, on a long-term contract basis. This position requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can lead HR functions, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and recruitment, within a dynamic workplace. The ideal candidate will bring a strong ability to manage priorities, ensure compliance, and support organizational goals effectively.

Responsibilities:

Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance using systems such as Insperity.

Administer employee benefits programs, including 401(k) plans, and resolve issues as needed.

Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, implementing policies, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

Lead recruitment efforts by reviewing applications, conducting initial interviews, and collaborating with leadership on staffing strategies.

Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.

Provide strategic guidance and support to leadership regarding HR best practices and workforce management.

Monitor and improve HR systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Handle commission calculations and biweekly payroll processing with precision.

Develop and maintain HR documentation, including policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Requirements - Proven expertise in a Human Resources leadership role, preferably within healthcare or medical settings.

Proficiency in payroll systems, such as Insperity, and experience managing payroll operations.

Strong understanding of employee benefits administration, including 401(k) plans and commission structures.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and foster a positive work environment.

Demonstrated ability to lead recruitment and onboarding processes effectively.

Familiarity with HRIS systems and their application in streamlining HR tasks.

Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. TalentMatch®
