?? Project Cost Control & Data Management

Maintain detailed and summary-level project cost control data files across various stages of the project life cycle.

Process project timesheets and manage the Time Sheet database.

Ensure accuracy of submitted invoices by cross-referencing timesheet data and conformed contracts.

Obtain payment approvals for invoices from Project Managers.

Perform standard and special project cost reporting as required; compile and produce cost reports for stakeholders.

??? Communication & Collaboration

Communicate results and issues to the Manager of Project Controls and other relevant departments.

Establish lines of communication with various departments to integrate data for accurate reporting.

Utilize effective communication processes to share timely and relevant cost information for better project decision-making.

Communicate with suppliers, project staff, and stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and cost tracking issues.

Apply strong communication skills to assess stakeholder needs and deliver optimal cost reporting, assessment, and analysis.

?? Forecasting & Budgeting

Collaborate with multiple departments to monitor, share, and analyze data for improved project forecasting.

Assist in the development, preparation, and reporting of the annual budget.

?? Contract & Standards Support

Assist in contract reviews with project staff to ensure understanding of contract terms and unit codes/costs for accurate tracking and forecasting.

Develop or support the creation of project controls guidelines, standards, processes, job aids, and tools.

?? Cost Efficiency & Preventive Action

Implement cost preventive actions to enhance project financial performance.

Job Qualifications

-8+ years of experience overall

-3+ years of experience in similar role within the construction, ACE, utilities, telecommunications, or related industry

-Experience with project cost tracking, budget, forecasting

-HS Diploma

-Highly proficient in MS Excel

-Willingness to work onsite on Tuesday-Thursday | Remote on Monday and DFriday

This is a Contract position based out of Valparaiso, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.63 - $43.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
