Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join one of our clients on an interim basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations and system improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures, maintaining timely and accurate financial reporting.

Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial records.

Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.

Lead efforts in improving business processes and documenting workflows to enhance efficiency.

Support the migration from QuickBooks to Dynamics 365 Business Central, validating data and addressing system challenges.

Train staff on new system functionalities and assist in troubleshooting issues.

Monitor bank reconciliations and cash flow to ensure financial operations run smoothly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and standardize accounting practices.

Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial processes and reporting.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger management and financial reporting.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Proven experience in business process documentation and improvement.

Familiarity with month-end close procedures and account reconciliations.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
