Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
The Digital Ad Sales Finance Manager will oversee core ad sales finance processes for NBCU's growing portfolio of Virtual/FAST Channels and assist the director of ad sales finance with the digital & streaming portfolio reporting process with exposure to all sites and streaming platforms across the NBCU digital portfolio. This position will also oversee all digital ad sales reporting for NBCU's TV Distribution and Global Distribution businesses.
This role will have significant exposure to revenue-related finance/pricing for these growing and dynamic businesses.
Serve as the main POC for the digitally ad supported NBCU TV Distribution and Global Distribution business units
Manage forecasting, budgets and weekly pacing
Lead weekly and monthly calls with the respective businesses
Understand and provide guidance on all FAST platforms, as well as social (Snapchat, TikTok, Youtube)
Oversee Ad Sales Finance responsibilities for all Virtual/FAST channels, including:
Revenue forecasting (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long range plan, monthly operational reviews and other estimates and presentations as required)
Analyzing and reporting sales risks and opportunities against targets by identifying core drivers (i.e.: traffic, pricing, sell-thru, etc.)
Assist in evaluating revenue potential for new FAST programming
Tracking inventory and revenue shares across all channels and sending partner statements
Processing and tracking partner payments and ensuring that all payments are made according to contractual timelines
Partnering with strategy, operations, and BI to ensure that financial reporting will be accurate and available for all new channel launches
Maintain quarterly close processes for all related FAST partner revenue streams
The role will also help to manage the digital & streaming reporting process for the entire NBCU portfolio, ensuring that revenue reporting is timely and accurate. This includes interfacing with BI, Ad Product Teams, and internal finance teams to ensure that new initiatives and products are properly setup for weekly reporting.
Improve digital media ad sales analytics
Enhance depth of existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for both Finance and Sales teams
Represent Ad Sale Finance function with internal digital media counterparts on key initiatives (ie: research/measurement changes, systems enhancement, etc.)
Basic Requirements:
Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) at an accredited college or university
4+ years of finance experience
Prior experience in a finance role supporting an ad sales function within a media or entertainment company highly desired
Ability to build financial models (i.e.: advanced excel skills) and presentations for senior leadership
Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset - ability to identify and resolve key issues quickly
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

Proven team player with the ability to take on different assignments/projects in a timely manner

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
