As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Site - Morning Shift in Lafayette, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming and secure environment for everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for any unusual conditions or activities and report observations according to established protocols.

Support access control measures by verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises.

Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives as needed to address concerns or incidents.

Assist in the implementation of emergency response actions as required on site.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
