As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site Driver in Niskayuna, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure operational environment. Your visibility and presence will be key in providing a reassuring atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry into designated areas within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to uphold site-specific policies and security-related procedures.

Provide customer service by assisting individuals with entry procedures and addressing inquiries related to site access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations involving access control in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols of entry and exit points, as well as surrounding areas, to check for irregularities and potential security-related issues.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and any incidents that occur.

Collaborate with on-site personnel and/or law enforcement during emergency response activities related to access control.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding access-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof upon request.

Applicants must have at least five years of security-related experience.

Applicants must have at least two years of experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections, or possess a college degree.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
