As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. You will utilize access control systems and respond to alarms while providing outstanding customer service and communication to those on site. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access points to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and support security-related protocols.

Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, maintaining detailed logs and records as required by site-specific policies.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related questions and procedures.

Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any unusual activity.

Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address concerns and maintain adherence to established procedures.

Observe and report any security-related hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious behavior in the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Experience with alarm panels and/or access control or badge systems is preferred.

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
