As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Phillipsburg, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors at access points.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or security-related incidents.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Maintain accurate records of access control activities, incident reports, and other security-related documentation as required by site policies.

Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate security-related concerns and observations.

Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns in accordance with site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
