Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

The role involves painting in an industrial/manufacturing setting, specifically working with custom parts using liquid paint. While the primary focus is not on powder coating, there may be opportunities for crossover. The position requires teamwork and a willingness to assist in other areas as needed. The work is exclusively with aluminum.

Responsibilities

Perform industrial painting tasks using liquid paint on custom parts.

Assist with paint preparation, including sanding and using spray guns.

Operate within a paint booth, ensuring high-quality finishes.

Contribute to the team by helping out in other areas when necessary.

Ensure all safety protocols are followed, particularly when working with electrostatic paint.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial painting.

Proficiency with industrial painting techniques and equipment, including spray guns and paint booths.

Familiarity with electrostatic paint processes.

Strong safety orientation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to wear a respirator and pass a respirator test (frequent shaving required due to mask fit).

Work Environment

The facility is large, clean, and well-lit, providing a pleasant working atmosphere. The paint area can become very hot due to the oven, but the overall environment maintains a good flow and structure.

This is a Permanent position based out of Winsted, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
