Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Packing Technician Shift 1 to join their team. As a Packing Technician Shift 1, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Val-A Packing Shift 1

Location: Valencia, CA

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 0700 - 1530, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic filling and labeling equipment

Determine appropriate slats for production runs and manually adjust controls using hand tools

Supply bulk materials to packaging lines and remove finished products from lines

Monitor equipment and products to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and disassembly of equipment at shift end

What's Needed?

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

At least 6 months of manufacturing or warehousing experience

Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures in English

Basic math skills for adjusting equipment and calculating requirements

Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift loads up to 50 lbs
