Overview
We are looking for an amazing Account Director that is ready to help us create the experiences that change lives. The Account Director is responsible for handling and growing the client relationship, and expanding services/business, on one or more large client accounts. The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of maintaining the ultimate accountability for client satisfaction, increasing account revenue and overall growth, and experienced as a team leader.
As a member of the Client Services (Account) Team, you're an ambassador for the rest of the
agency. We're the first people our clients look to for guidance, and we are committed to make sure the client's needs are always met. We also function as the intermediaries linking the internal agency team with other interested parties, ensuring clear communication of information. We uphold the mission of RFH by being effective modern medicine advocates.
Responsibilities
Client Focus:
May coordinate the client connections at the mid-senior level within the organization's hierarchy
With Vice President, responsible for setting and leading client account expectations
Manages strategy development for assigned accounts, building partnerships and marketing plans aligned with brand values.
Ensures client contact with members of internal brand team
Maintains primary responsibility for the quality, strategy and integrity of all agency products/services delivered to assigned clients; resulting in the cultivation of client loyalty and retention
Engages clients on a regular basis to evaluate the success or failure of digital advertising/marketing initiatives, and plans for course correction and/or continual success as appropriate
Identifies opportunities for growth within existing client accounts/brands currently handled and presents/positions new insights to clients on an ongoing basis; seeks opportunities to up sell and cross-sell within the account to generate additional revenue
Manages profit and loss responsibility for assigned clients as well as financial forecasting
Demonstrates significant knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and is comfortable playing a leadership role with client brand teams when needed
Collaborates with Client Partner to bring value models for account plans; provides continuous mentorship on promotional strategies; crafts pricing and budget models for agency services
In charge of grasping the account dynamics and coordinating Razorfish Healthware assets to meet account needs efficiently
Could potentially be involved in new business initiatives
Collaborates with the Project Manager to assist in crafting the project timeline and budget
Offers direction, assistance, and continuous mentorship to individuals on their designated project team
Communicates regularly with diverse team members about the client's brand strategy, business insights, trends, challenges, and competition. Motivates the team to consistently provide outstanding client solutions that align with or surpass client's goals/expectations
Keeps abreast of trends in the digital marketing and advertising field, along with various business sectors
Internal Focus
Consults with Client Partner to: develop value models and rationale for each account plan; provide ongoing consultation regarding advertising/marketing strategy; and develop fees and budget allocation models for all agency services
Responsible for understanding the account dynamics and mobilizing Razorfish Healthware resources to most effectively meet account requirements
May be asked to participate in new business
With Project Manager, supplies to the development of project timeline and budget
Provides leadership, support, and ongoing guidance to members of their assigned project team
Ensures clear, ongoing communication regarding the client and brand strategy, strategic insights pertaining to the client's business/industry, trends, initiatives, issues and competitive intelligence, or similar to multidisciplinary team members. Encourages the team to consistently deliver outstanding client solutions that align with or exceed the client's desired results
Observes developments in the digital marketing and advertising sector, as well as client industry verticals
Qualifications
7 years of relevant experience in the account services field within the advertising industry
Minimum of one year of prior staff management, development and mentoring experience preferred
Experience in marketing/promotion experience with healthcare brands is required
A demonstrated track record of expanding business with existing customers (upselling); and experience supporting new business pitches required

Compensation Range: $95,950 - $137,865 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
