Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with a strong interest in Power Delivery and Renewable Energy projects. You will play a key role in designing and executing electrical systems for a variety of facilities including substations, solar farms, battery storage units, data centers, and hydropower stations. This position offers the opportunity to cross-train across multiple disciplines, gaining expertise in substation design, power generation, and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate single or multidiscipline engineering teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

Supervise and mentor entry-level engineers.

Manage large, complex projects or multiple medium-sized projects simultaneously.

Maintain client relationships and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings.

Facilitate collaborative work sessions with stakeholders to develop deliverables.

Oversee staffing and workload planning to ensure timely project completion.

Monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

Conduct periodic reviews with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership.

Implement and uphold QA/QC procedures.

Mentor junior project managers and contribute to team development.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Substation design

Electrical engineering fundamentals

EIT or PE certification

Protection & control systems

Schematic design

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

2-5+ years of experience in substation or utility engineering

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr.
