Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Yates Residential

Join our team at Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) as a Full Time Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Yates County and make a real difference in the lives of individuals in need. As a Residential Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Mozaic, you will have the opportunity to provide hands-on care and support to those who need it most in a home setting. With a competitive pay range of $18.20 to $20.20 per hour, your hard work will be valued and compensated accordingly.

DSP SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Evening : 3 PM to 11 PM (times can fluctuate) - Must have a valid NYS driver's license for this shift

We have full-time and relief positions available!

DSP PAY RATE: $18.20 to $20.20 per hour per hour based on experience and shift differentials!

Differential Pay includes evenings, overnights, and weekends

What would you do as a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others? As a Direct Support Professional, you'll serve as a compassionate caregiver, dedicated health aid, and reliable direct care provider for individuals with disabilities. In this role, you'll assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks, while ensuring that care plans, medication routines, and safety protocols are followed with diligence and empathy.

You'll also provide transportation to appointments and community events, helping individuals stay engaged and work toward their personal goals. Collaboration is essential-you'll work closely with families, healthcare providers, and case managers to support each individual's overall well-being. Beyond providing care, you'll offer emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy, empowering individuals to embrace their independence and exercise their rights. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

A minimum of one year of experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field

Valid NYS Driver's License

High School diploma or equivalent required
