We are looking for a Category Finance Planning & Performance Management Manager for the US Bars category. This person will serve as the strategic financial adviser and business partner to the Bars Category team and will lead the financial analysis and planning and reporting processes.
This person will work on key initiatives to accelerate and drive the Clif Bar portfolio, driving financial achievement, cost reduction and optimal business decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month end process, including understanding and analyzing drivers of the full P&L, partnering with cross-functional finance team for insights.
Co-lead the monthly forecasting process, with involvement in the EBP demand planning process, support on data management and analysis on forward-looking P&L impacts to get insights or drive performance.
Support on driving profitability and forecast accuracy.
Track key 'game changing' initiatives to ensure rapid progress against key milestones and financial targets
Perform insightful analysis around EVA (pricing, mix, PNOC, cost rate) including clear linkage to the P&L
Profile :
Quickly able to understand the fundamentals of what drives the business; can hit the ground running and identify opportunities to 'add value' and accelerate brand growth.
A highly motivated, energetic and pragmatic individual with the ability to 'roll up sleeves', take responsibility for initiatives and produce results.
Ability to work at a fast pace, deal with ambiguity and make something out of nothing, self-starter.
Strategic player - strong with analysis - Pricing, business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution.
Ability to effectively interact with others and ability to influence the organization.
Demonstrated financial, operational and business acumen; strong achievement and results orientation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred
4 or more years of Finance management experience is required
Prior Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience preferred
Experience with business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution
Strong technical skills required (i.e. Excel, BI, other reporting tools)
Strong strategic and analytical skills
Outstanding leadership skills
Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders
Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead teams
The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
