As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the premises, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving position, where you will utilize your awareness and communication skills to foster a secure and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or unauthorized persons in accordance with Allied Universal and/or client procedures.

Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities as directed by site management.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials of personnel and visitors as required by site policies.

Support emergency response efforts during incidents such as evacuations, medical emergencies, or other critical situations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
