As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Manage access control by verifying credentials and granting or denying entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site procedures.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Provide outstanding customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions as needed.

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies for access, reporting, and documentation.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify possible hazards or breaches.

Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, or other site-specific actions.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

A minimum of two years' experience in law enforcement, military, or corrections, or a college degree is required.

A minimum of five years of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
