As a Security Officer - Flex Industrial Patrol in Curtis Bay, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to those on site. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, as well as around the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or visitor identification as required by site policies.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure work environment.

Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
