This role will also support Senior Corporate Banking Relationship Managers who are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad range of corporate clients and delivering the full platform of Wells Fargo's capabilities including Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, M&A related Acquisition Finance, Treasury Management, Macro solutions, Global Receivables & Trade and Credit. This position requires a VP that is capable of supporting more senior Relationship Managers driving the business and developing complex relationships. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to develop internal and external relationships and have some relevant corporate banking experience. Industrials sector experience is a plus.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact and act as key participant in relationship management and business development for Corporate Banking functional area
Strive to broaden and deepen customer relationships by providing integrated, end to end financial solutions to our customers across multiple product platforms
Participate in the completion of major transactions with management
Originate, structure and execute the largest most complex transactions related to investment banking, traditional corporate lending or their credit related products
Demonstrate a strategic and consultative approach with client
Identify opportunities and organize the right internal partners and team to form the relationship team
Strategically collaborate and consult with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong accounting skills and ability to analyze financial statements
Relationship management or client-facing experience
Credit underwriting experience highly desired
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required

Base Salary:
$175,000-200,000
This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
Salary is just one component of Wells Fargo's total rewards package. Depending on the role, a Wells Fargo's employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
