Our client, a leading global logistics provider, is seeking a Administrative Assistant to join their team. As a Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the management and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Union City, CA

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

Provide general administrative and clerical support to management and department leads.

Prepare, organize, and maintain files, reports, and correspondence (electronic and paper).

Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and handling communication between departments.

Create and update spreadsheets, track data, and prepare routine reports using Microsoft Excel and other software tools.

Support onboarding processes and maintain employee and contractor records as needed.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Minimum 1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
