We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Accounting to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will lead financial operations and provide expert guidance to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Manage budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights to guide strategic decision-making.

Maintain compliance with financial regulations and reinforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and accountability.

Collaborate with external auditors and prepare required financial documentation.

Utilize BlackLine and other financial tools to streamline reporting and operational efficiency.

Provide detailed financial analysis to support profitability and organizational growth.

Work closely with management to develop and implement financial strategies.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and related audits.

Oversee IT systems to enhance operational effectiveness and maintain data integrity.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification strongly preferred.

Extensive experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

Proficiency with BlackLine or similar financial tools.

Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and regulatory compliance.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive strategic financial initiatives.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
