Additionally the LPN provides Education to patients, families, significant others, and/or caregivers, and will float to other specialty areas as needed. Training and maintaining competency in set up and break down of minor procedures is mandatory. Demonstrates basic holistic nursing care through collaborative strategies with others. The LPN provides nursing care to Veterans with a variety of needs and maintains acceptable clinical skills in the healthcare setting, under close supervision of the RN. LPNs are expected to perform all duties, providing quality care for stable Veterans within the scope of their license.
