Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Marketing & Administrative Assistant to support our marketing efforts and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys both creative and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the creation and production of sales, marketing, and packaging materials, ensuring adherence to established brand guidelines.

Assist in creating and updating marketing campaigns, print materials, web/print ads, tradeshow collateral, promotional items, and e-mail blasts.

Collaborate with other teams to produce necessary designs and drafts, while communicating design decisions.

Maintain the customer database and generate internal database information for direct marketing projects. Track, analyze, and report analytics to demonstrate the effectiveness of campaigns.

Track, collate, and maintain inventory of marketing materials, including photo work, artwork, and film, as well as marketing literature, archive files, and sample files.

Coordinate trade show exhibits, promotions, packaging, shipping, staff travel plans, and participate in trade shows when necessary.

Assist with design overflow and template changes.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Basic understanding of websites and design principles.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Quick learner with a proactive mindset.

Comfortable holding conversations and taking initiative.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Recent college graduate or someone with relevant coursework/experience.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to operate Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome web browsers.

Ability to operate WordPress.

Ability to operate all Microsoft Office products.

Ability to operate Mailjet.

Ability to operate Canva.

Ability to operate Clickup Project Management Software.

Work Environment

The work environment is project-based and fast-paced, with daily changes and evolving priorities. It fosters a collaborative and communicative team culture. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with the potential to be hybrid one day a week after training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
