About the Role
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and growing new business as well as to strengthen existing client relationships. The purpose of this role is also to provide technical broking, and solution offerings in respect to assigned Corporate clients, through liaison with clients, underwriters and Aon Management.
For the right candidate, we will consider your base location to be Hamilton, Auckland or Tauranga with travel to Hamilton.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Managing client servicing requirements - relationship management
Identifying opportunities for growth both within your existing client base and new business
Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs through liaison with external stakeholders
Preparing proposals/presentations for new business opportunities
Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Proven experience in insurance broking ideally from a corporate background.
The ability to deliver high standards of quality client services
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in local government is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
