As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Ankeny, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a leading manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrols. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
