Maintenance Electro-Mechanic (Manufacturing Environment)

1st shift 6 am - 2:30 pm (position will require rotating shift between 1st and 2nd after 8 months)

Huntington Park, CA

$32-38/hr (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot/investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc. Keep problems from recurring

utilizing the Breakdown Analysis process.

Obtain drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures, as needed, from files or other sources. Makes any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., as necessary.

Examines jobs to be done and determine scope and best way to accomplish the work. Consults with requester, maintenance planner, and/or Supervisor when necessary.

Recommends equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs. Perform Preventative Maintenance task to identify all potential mechanical and

electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant. Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM's.

Handle special assignments or other duties as assigned by authorized personnel.

Continuously maintains proficiency in Automation and controls systems.

Communicates effectively with management, engineers, mechanics, and equipment operators. Demonstrates equipment functions and features to machine operators.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
