Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Danville, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and organizing financial transactions for multiple entities within the manufacturing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at maintaining accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, including coding and entering invoices with precision.

Manage account coding to ensure accurate allocation of expenses across multiple entities.

Oversee ACH payments and check runs to guarantee timely and accurate disbursements.

Collaborate with team members to maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Support the preparation of month-end closing reports related to accounts payable.

Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all transactions.

Assist in streamlining accounts payable processes to improve efficiency.

Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries and dispute

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a multi-entity environment.

Strong knowledge of account coding, invoice processing, and AP best practices.

Proficiency in handling ACH payments and managing check runs.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven setting.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with accounting software and tools is highly desirable.

A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters.
