UW Medical Center-Montlake - Rehabilitation Therapies has an outstanding opportunity for a PHYSICAL THERAPIST 3 - INPATIENT.
WORK SCHEDULE
80% FTE; 32 hours per week; Wednesday-Saturday

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The PT3 will be responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy evaluation and intervention to patients with complex medical diagnosis and/or difficult social situations (multi system impairments and or multiple co morbidities) referred by a licensed provider. This individual will administer treatments and physical agents as determined by the evaluation in an effort to restore function and prevent further disability following injury, disease or physical disability.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, this individual will assess, plan, administer, evaluate and provide safe physical therapy care. This will include progression of treatment goals and patient and family education. The PT3 will assess and treat a patient caseload ranging from routine to complex patient problems and situations. Collaborate with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care. Implement treatment programs, which include the use of physical agents, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and functional training. Instruct, assign work and evaluate students as assigned by supervisor.
This position provides opportunities to work with skilled competent therapists, ready and willing to teach new clinicians. The department is team oriented and a dynamic workgroup willing to help each other. Values team communication, motivated to reach to a higher level of care for patients. Works closely with physicians, nurses and other disciplines who value Physical Therapy skills and their contributions to the team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
A Bachelor's degree from a recognized school of physical therapy or completion of a Physical Therapy program AND at least two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist.
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$106,824.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$157,476.00 annual
Other Compensation:
Weekend Premium: Additional $2.25/hr.
