Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and work on a variety of critical accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.

Enter and maintain accurate financial data in the accounting system.

Assist with the processing and reconciliation of invoices to ensure timely payments.

Support the team in resolving discrepancies and addressing vendor inquiries.

Perform data extraction and analysis to support financial reporting.

Help with clearing a backlog of invoices and ensuring proper documentation.

Collaborate on special accounting projects, providing support as needed.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and files. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Proficiency in using QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to process invoices and manage financial documentation effectively.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks.

Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and vendors.
