Provides recommendations related to development and execution of project management plans. Anticipates obstacles and addresses them to ensure timely and accurate delivery of information, products, and services. Provides analysis and assessment of Financial Systems projects or programs with strategic, enterprise or tactical impacts relative to payroll services. Specialized experience is defined as: Applying financial management methods, practices, and principles in implementing process improvements to accounting and financial systems; evaluating and interpreting financial policies, regulations, legislation and statutes to ensure financial or accounting system compliance with those directives; providing technical support for financial/accounting systems by planning, testing, revising, implementing, and maintaining the systems. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense via delegated authority by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
