Compensation: $80000 - $120000 annually

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

15-20% bonus incentive

Work hours: 6a-230p with OT mandatory as necessary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations. The ideal person will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, improving performance, and driving strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, direct, and coordinate daily operations to meet business goals

Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics

Analyze workflow, identify areas for process improvement, and implement operational strategies

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Lead, train, and supervise operational staff to ensure a productive and motivated team.

Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes and keep overtime to a minimum

Implement and monitor lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Prepare and present reports on operational performance, KPIs, and other metrics to senior management

Address and resolve other operational challenges promptly

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Operations Management OR current experience (minimum 3 years) in operations management.

Current to date leadership role that is managing a team of direct reports (more than 3).

Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC operations, and blueprint reading

Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

Preferred previous ISO/FDA experience (including audits)

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and project management software

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

Preferred certification with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies

Familiarity with ERP systems

Strong with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel including pivot tables, etc.)

Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience

Working Conditions:

Some travel may be required (roughly 5%)

Manufacturing facility with exposure to machine noise, lubricants and shop floor conditions

Ability to walk, stand, occasionally lift 75 pounds, and moving heavier carts
