Overview
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and act as a force multiplier for the VP of Revenue Operations & Enablement (RO&E) and the entire leadership team. We are seeking a dynamic a graduate intern to support our most critical strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a "strategic doer" who thrives on turning vision into reality and is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
For 12 weeks, you will be a valued partner to the RO&E leadership team, operating at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will gain a unique vantage point across all of Revenue Operations & Enablement, driving a key strategic project, contributing to our team's strategy, and observing how a senior leadership team operates. This internship requires strong analytical skills, project management abilities, and the discretion to handle confidential information. This is a remote summer internship for 12 consecutive weeks with start dates between May-June 2026.
Responsibilities
Own and drive at least one high-priority strategic project from conception through to final recommendation. You will be responsible for defining the problem, conducting analysis, aligning with stakeholders, and presenting your findings to the RO&E leadership team at the conclusion of your internship.
Support the operational cadence of the RO&E leadership team. This includes helping to prepare materials for leadership meetings, tracking key decisions, and gaining exposure to the executive decision-making process.
Partner with the VP and leadership team to contribute to aspects of our annual and long-range planning process. Provide analytical support for initiatives related to goal setting (OKRs), resource planning, and budget allocation.
Assist in developing and preparing high-quality presentations and narratives for various audiences, including content for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), team all-hands meetings, and strategic updates.
Tackle an ambiguous business challenge by applying structured frameworks, gathering data, and developing a clear, actionable plan to address it.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a MBA or Master's program, preferably in Business, Marketing, Operations or related field with an expected conferral date between December 2026 and August 2027.
3+ years of professional experience prior to your MBA, preferably in roles such as Management Consulting, Business Operations, Corporate Strategy, or Finance.
Demonstrated ability to manage a project from start to finish, navigating ambiguity and delivering clear, data-driven recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience at a top-tier management consulting firm.
A strong interest in or exposure to Go-to-Market (GTM) functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success).
Familiarity with the purpose of a Revenue Operations organization (e.g., Sales Operations, Data & Analytics, Systems, Enablement).
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high degree of comfort presenting to leadership.
Compensation Range
The base salary range for this job is USD $31.82 - USD $84.42 /Hr.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
