Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Technician to join our healthcare team in Grand Prairie, United States. As a Physical Therapist Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and contributing to the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.

Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care and treatment plans

Prepare treatment areas and set up therapy equipment for patient sessions

Administer hot and cold packs, and other modalities as directed by the physical therapist

Guide patients through prescribed exercises and monitor their progress

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment

Ensure proper maintenance and care of therapy equipment

Assist patients with mobility and transfers as needed

Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation journey

Accurately document patient information and treatment details in electronic health records

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Current enrollment in a physical or occupational therapy curriculum program preferred

Strong work ethic and a responsible attitude

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Genuine interest in helping people and a caring, empathetic nature

Outstanding organizational and time management abilities

Knowledge of basic physical therapy techniques and equipment

Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocols

Physical stamina to assist patients and handle therapy equipment

Basic computer skills for accurate record-keeping and documentation

Flexibility to work in a dynamic healthcare environment

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting

Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Working towards obtaining a college degree (preferred)
