Job Title: Sales Administrative AssistantJob Description

This role involves processing inbound orders coming in from the field via email. The individual will be responsible for generating invoices, Bills of Lading (BOL), receipts, and scheduling shipments from the warehouse. Additionally, there will be tasks related to two-match for accounts payable (AP) and expediting materials to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Process inbound orders from the field via email.

Generate invoices, Bills of Lading (BOL), and receipts.

Schedule shipments from the warehouse.

Perform two-match for accounts payable (AP).

Expedite materials to ensure timely delivery.

Essential Skills

Proficient in Excel and capable of using formulas.

Strong data entry skills.

Ability to provide administrative support.

At least 2 years of office experience.

Experience in sales, accounting, logistics, or order entry.

High School Diploma.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Reliable work history.

Experience with SAGE, order entry, invoicing, sales administration, and order processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

A degree is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The position is based in a small office setting, where the individual will have their own office space. Occasionally, the individual will go onto the floor to interact with managers and learn about the product. The work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm CST, aligning with a 1st shift schedule. The dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
