What you will do as a Hospice Office Coordinator:

Maintain accurate patient records and obtain signatures from physicians.

Facilitate orders for medical equipment.

Ensures communication for proper billing of pharmaceuticals and supports timely completion of gathering all clinical records.

Organizes and maintains an efficient office environment.

Prepares agenda for team meetings.

Assists with payroll duties and human resource duties ensuring an accurate and complete employee file.

What it takes to become an Office Coordinator with Care Initiatives Hospice:

High school diploma or equivalent

Education in business practices or secretarial training

Knowledge of general office practices and procedures

Knowledge of word processing software and data systems

Two years related experience in position with similar duties

Medical terminology - preferred
