Medical Receptionist

TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Front Desk Receptionist in the Washington, DC Area!

MUST HAVE: Any medical receptionist experience, and either bilingual in Spanish and English or American Sign Language experience.

Description

They will be sitting at the front desk with the below responsibilities:

Check Patients In

Verifying and authorizing insurance

Schedule follow up appointments

Answer phone calls to help patients

collect Co pays

Call for appointment reminders

Accept packages and log them into the system (hearing aids) when received

Send medical records to various parties

Will need to be bilingual in either American Sign Language ASL or Spanish

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be bilingual in either American Sign Language

If not, then bilingual in Spanish and have 2 years of healthcare experience

Customer Service Oriented

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
