We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade. Regional Ecosystem Risk Management resides in the Global Ecosystem Risk & Solution organization that is part of Global Risk Management (GRM) organization that supports various business lines in optimizing various risk strips and rewards to enable profitable business growth within risk appetite.2. You will support and execute various initiatives to solve different risk challenges across the PayPal ecosystem.3. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to different regional market risk management from onboarding to lifecycle strategy in risk grading, funds availability, transaction rule optimization, etc.4. You will be partnering with other GRM teams and Business Unit and Product leaders in executing the roadmap outlined by the Business unit that balances Business Unit objectives and OKRs while design with intent to meet the risk appetite.Job Description:Essential Responsibilities: Lead and manage data science projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and reporting systems to support data analysis and decision-making.Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Expected Qualifications:5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualification:5+ years of experience in financial technology, banking, processor, or payments with deep subject matter expertise and ex
