Must-haves to apply for this job:
Able to read blueprints and wiring schematics
Able to learn and operate computerized work order system
2+ years industrial electrical/mechanical experience
Possesses basic computer skills (Outlook, Oracle, ADP, MES) and the ability to learn production software
What this job is all about:
The Night Shift Maintenance Team Leader supports and maintains plant equipment and drives improvements to meet production needs. It requires making repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that equipment is being maintained and functioning properly.
May oversee change overs, orders parts, and assists in continuous improvement of the preventive and predictive maintenance program.
In this job, youll do things like:
Adheres to, and ensures all employees adhere to, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety Policies, and all other company standards
Addresses failures to adhere to GMP, Safety Policies, and other company standards as soon as reasonably possible
Ensures team is focused on quality and prevents non-conformities
Sets daily/weekly goals for team members and self
Schedules work breaks for team members to ensure operational efficiency
Completes appropriate documents for assigned area
Leads by example and counsels team members on routine questions and issues
Provides regular feedback and conducts quarterly 1:1s with team members regarding their performance and career progression opportunities
Trains, or coordinates training of, team members on routine and non-routine job tasks
Works with management to determine adequate staffing schedules for shifts to include planning for backups for team members and self for all absences
Maintains a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control and electrical systems
