Job Title: 1st shift Packer (5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday)

Job Description

As a Packer, you will be responsible for bagging finished products and weighing them to ensure they meet the correct weight specifications. You will then secure the boxes with tape and lift them onto pallets, each weighing up to 50 lbs. Your role involves using scales accurately, calibrating them with proper weights, and stacking boxes orderly for palletizing.

Responsibilities

Utilize scales appropriately, ensuring power is supplied and calibration is accurate using proper techniques.

Read and understand product codes and lot numbers.

Operate equipment such as belts, Swecos, Comils, and metal detectors.

Perform CCP checks according to SOPs, document findings, and address non-compliance issues.

Conduct quality checks to ensure products match sight standards.

Maintain a food safety culture, adhering to food defense, quality, and cGMPs for production and warehousing.

Understand and master all sanitization processes, including cleaning, breaking down, and reassembling equipment.

Follow all sanitization and work safety policies and procedures consistently.

Maintain general housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe workspace.

Essential Skills

6 months of food production experience.

Ability to lift 50 lbs every two minutes.

Proficiency in food production, packing, food manufacturing, and food handling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
