Description

Our Client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team in Torrance, California. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating fundraising activities, and contributing to the creation of impactful materials that promote our mission. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for making a positive difference in the community.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support by managing data entry, maintaining organized records, and preparing reports.

Assist in planning and executing donor outreach initiatives and fundraising campaigns.

Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships.

Design engaging promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and social media content, using tools like Canva or Photoshop.

Manage and update social media platforms to enhance engagement and awareness.

Support event planning efforts, including logistics and community outreach activities.

Ensure timely tracking and submission of grants and project deadlines.

Collaborate with the Executive Director to streamline office operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in administrative and fundraising roles, preferably within a nonprofit organization.

Proficiency in Excel and strong skills in online research.

Familiarity with design software such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar platforms.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in managing social media content.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.

Ability to thrive in a small, dynamic work environment.

Deep commitment to supporting children and community-based initiatives.

Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required
