As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aero and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your role is vital in supporting a secure environment where teamwork, reliability, and integrity matter. Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access within the location and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by the site.

What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience or at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager or at least 3 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
